A 5.4% German Schwarzbier from Belschnickel, inspired by the dark lagers of Thuringia and particularly the brewing heritage of Köstritz. Schornsteinfeger pours almost black, reflecting its name, the German word for chimney sweep. Its rich malt profile features a more pronounced roasted character than many Bavarian interpretations, with less emphasis on Munich-style caramel sweetness. Despite its dark appearance, the beer retains the clean fermentation character and crisp, dry finish of a traditional lager.
