Stargaze

About this beer

A beautifully soft and expressive Hazy Pale Ale from Cornwall's Bluntrock Brewery, created as the fifth and final release in the brewery's Moon Juice Saga. Stargaze brings the collection to a close with a carefully developed recipe focused on gentle hop character, a soft grain bill and exceptionally low bitterness. Pouring a luminous, light yellow colour, the beer opens with inviting aromas of cantaloupe melon, ripe apricot, strawberry, soft mint and a delicate hint of mango. On the palate, refreshing melon leads into sticky strawberry jam, subtle spearmint leaf and touches of ripe apricot, creating a distinctive combination of juicy fruit and gentle herbal freshness. Idaho 7 is introduced during the whirlpool, followed by dry-hop additions of Indie Hops' Lorien, experimental Yakima Valley hop Pink and New Zealand variety NZH-106. Together, these hops deliver an expressive yet restrained aromatic profile, allowing the beer's delicate flavours to shine without overwhelming bitterness. A soft grist incorporating barley, wheat and oats supports a medium body, while light carbonation enhances its smooth, rounded mouthfeel. At 5.5% ABV, Stargaze offers a refreshing and approachable drinking experience, celebrating the conclusion of Bluntrock's Moon Juice Saga with a beautifully balanced, fruit-forward pale ale. Unfiltered and vegan-friendly, this final release also features specially designed artwork containing hidden details that complete the series.
