A traditional medium-bodied Brown Ale from Burwell Brewery, offering inviting caramel, chocolate and toffee notes with a gentle bitter finish. Old Castle Brown celebrates the history of Burwell's former castle, of which only the earthworks remain today. The brewery recounts a local story of the last surviving section of castle wall being accidentally destroyed during a fire brigade hose test. A smooth, malt-forward ale combining classic English brown ale character with a memorable piece of village heritage.
