Beast of Bodmin

About this beer

A rich and full-bodied Red Ale from Cornwall's Firebrand Brewing Company, combining traditional malt complexity with a distinctive fruity and bitter finish. Beast of Bodmin pours a deep chestnut-red colour, reflecting its robust malt character and inviting appearance. The beer delivers a complex, malt-forward flavour profile, with a rounded body that provides depth and richness throughout the drinking experience. Fruity notes emerge alongside the malt sweetness, creating an appealing contrast before developing into a pleasantly bitter finish. At 5% ABV, Beast of Bodmin offers a satisfying balance between traditional ale character and refreshing drinkability. Its name evokes the legendary Beast of Bodmin Moor, a mysterious creature associated with the wild landscapes of Cornwall, giving this distinctive ale a strong connection to its regional heritage. Brewed by Firebrand Brewing Company, an independent Cornish brewery known for its commitment to flavour, quality ingredients and local spring water, Beast of Bodmin showcases a more traditional, malt-led expression of the brewery's craft beer range.
