A rich, full-bodied old ale brewed in collaboration with Saint Mars of the Desert using Thornbridge's historic Burton Union system. Maris Otter, dark malts and brewing sugars create a deep garnet beer with inviting aromas of fruitcake and dark cinder toffee, balanced by gentle floral British hops.
