Albion Cream Stout

About this beer

A smooth and velvety English Cream Stout from Norfolk's Woodforde's Brewery, first introduced in 2021 and named in honour of the traditional Norfolk wherry boats with their distinctive black sails. Albion combines the rich character of roasted malts with inviting flavours of dark chocolate, freshly brewed coffee and subtle caramel sweetness. Its creamy, rounded mouthfeel softens the roasted malt intensity, while a gentle bitterness provides balance and a satisfying finish. At 4.8% ABV, this approachable dark ale delivers the comforting richness of a traditional stout without sacrificing drinkability. A characterful celebration of Norfolk's maritime heritage and Woodforde's commitment to classic British brewing.
