Purity Brewing Co. is a Warwickshire brewery established in 2005 at Upper Spernall Farm near Great Alne. Brewing from converted farm buildings, Purity has built its identity around quality beer, environmental responsibility and a strong connection with its local community.
Brewery story
Purity Brewing Co. began brewing in 2005 at Upper Spernall Farm near Great Alne in Warwickshire. Its purpose-designed brewery was created within converted farm buildings, providing a rural base from which the business developed its range of beers and expanded distribution across the Midlands and beyond.
Environmental responsibility has been a prominent part of Purity's approach, with the brewery placing an emphasis on reducing the impact of beer production and operating sustainably from its Warwickshire home. Alongside this environmental focus, Purity has developed a substantial free-trade business supplying pubs and other outlets across its regional market and into London.
Purity expanded into hospitality in 2014 with the opening of Purecraft Bar & Kitchen on Waterloo Street in central Birmingham. The venue combines an extensive cask and keg selection with food designed to accompany beer, serving Purity's own range alongside beers selected from other brewing partners.
Today the brewery continues to operate from Upper Spernall Farm and offers brewery tours of its Warwickshire site, while Purecraft provides a permanent city-centre showcase for its beer. Purity is now part of the Keystone Brewing Group, marking a new ownership chapter for a brewery that has operated from Great Alne since 2005.
