A traditional English IPA from Lincolnshire's 8 Sail Brewery, inspired by the India Pale Ales brewed during the nineteenth century for export to India. John Barleycorn combines Pale and Crystal malts with classic English Fuggles and Goldings hops to recreate the character of historic British IPA brewing. At 5.5% ABV, this malt-balanced and hop-forward beer celebrates the heritage of one of Britain's most influential beer styles. Awarded Silver at SIBA East in 2024.
