No14 English Barley Wine

About this beer

A powerful and richly layered English Barley Wine from Lincolnshire's 8 Sail Brewery, showcasing the depth and complexity of traditional British strong ales. No14 pours a deep amber colour with a delicate pale head, releasing inviting aromas of caramel, dark fruit and toffee. The substantial malt foundation delivers pronounced sweetness alongside flavours of dried fruit and rich caramel, while a restrained bitterness provides balance and structure. Despite its formidable 14% ABV, the beer offers a remarkably smooth drinking experience, with warming strength and a lingering, complex finish. Best enjoyed slowly, this indulgent barley wine pairs particularly well with aged cheeses and hearty roasted dishes.
