Muddly Talker

A rich and warming Stock Ale from Dorset's Apex Brewing, created as a tribute to legendary motorsport commentator Murray Walker. Inspired by historic keeping ales, Muddly Talker delivers layers of black treacle, dark fruits, cocoa and roasted malt, creating a deeply satisfying and complex drinking experience. At 7% ABV, this limited-release strong ale combines traditional malt richness with a warming character reminiscent of classic British stock ales. The brewery has also placed the beer into six different casks for a forthcoming barrel-aged series, exploring how different maturation vessels influence its character.
