A rich and traditional Strong Bitter from Wiltshire's Arkell's Brewery, originally created to commemorate Swindon Town Football Club's historic League Cup victory in 1969. Named after Kingsdown in Upper Stratton, where the brewery is situated, the beer proved popular enough to enter regular production in 1976. Kingsdown pours a beautiful deep chestnut colour and delivers luscious, fruit-forward flavours complemented by a satisfying malt richness. At 4.8% ABV, this full-flavoured bitter offers a smooth aftertaste and a distinctive character that reflects both the brewery's heritage and its connection to the local community.
