Crimson

About this beer

A crisp, refreshing and fruit-forward Cherry Lager from Hull's Atom Beers, combining the clean character of traditional lager brewing with the vibrant flavour of real cherries. Crimson is brewed using a delicate malt base of Pilsen malt and soft wheat, creating a light, approachable foundation that allows the natural fruit character to take centre stage. Cherry concentrate introduces juicy, expressive cherry flavours, bringing a distinctive fruity sweetness and gentle tartness to the beer's otherwise crisp profile. The subtle malt character provides balance without overpowering the fruit, allowing the refreshing qualities of the lager to shine through. On the palate, Crimson delivers a lively combination of fresh cherry flavour and clean malt notes, finishing dry to maintain its refreshing, easy-drinking character. At 4.2% ABV, this approachable fruit lager offers a lighter alternative to richer fruit beers, with enough flavour to remain interesting throughout the year. Unfiltered, unfined and vegan-friendly, Crimson showcases Atom's creative approach to brewing, bringing together traditional lager ingredients and real fruit for a bright, satisfying and refreshingly different drinking experience.
