A vibrant and fruit-forward Double Dry-Hopped Pale Ale from Lewes-based Beak Brewery, created in collaboration with Aiguille, a Lake District company specialising in handcrafted mountaineering equipment. Muir is a 5% ABV release celebrating a partnership that brings together a shared appreciation for outdoor adventures and good beer. The collaboration also produced a collection of bumbags designed for days out, providing the inspiration for this distinctive pale ale. Brewed with Citra, Idaho 7, Nectaron and Motueka hops, Muir delivers an expressive combination of juicy tropical fruit and refreshing citrus character. The brewery describes flavours of soft, squishy peach and freshly squeezed pineapple, complemented by a lively twist of lime zest. Double dry hopping places the aromatic qualities of these four hop varieties at the forefront, creating a bright and flavourful drinking experience. American varieties Citra and Idaho 7 combine with New Zealand-grown Nectaron and Motueka to build a layered fruit profile, balancing ripe stone fruit and tropical sweetness with zesty citrus freshness. Brewed with barley, wheat and oats, Muir is a contemporary pale ale that captures Beak's enthusiasm for expressive hopping while celebrating the spirit of exploration shared with Aiguille.
