About this beer

A rich and full-bodied Scottish Ale from Cairngorm Brewery, crafted in the heart of the Scottish Highlands and inspired by the region's rugged landscapes and distinctive wildlife. A restrained hop bitterness provides balance against the malt sweetness, allowing the beer's traditional Scottish ale character to remain prominent. The velvety mouthfeel adds depth and richness, while a gently warming finish creates a satisfying and lingering drinking experience. At 5.1% ABV, Wild Cat Ale offers a substantial yet approachable interpretation of a classic Scottish ale, combining traditional brewing character with the distinctive identity of the Highlands. Named after Scotland's elusive wildcat, this characterful beer reflects Cairngorm Brewery's connection to its Highland surroundings and its commitment to producing well-balanced, flavourful traditional ales.
