
Cairngorm Brewery is an independent craft brewery in Aviemore, at the heart of the Cairngorms National Park. Established in 2001, it brews traditional Scottish ales alongside contemporary beers on a 20-barrel brewhouse.
Brewery story
Cairngorm Brewery was established in 2001 in Aviemore, in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park in the Scottish Highlands.
The brewery operates a 20-barrel brewhouse capable of producing around 6,500 litres a day, with permanent and seasonal beers produced in cask, keg and bottle.
Its range combines established Scottish recipes such as Black Gold, Wildcat and Stag with more contemporary beers including Trade Winds, Cairngorm Gold, Cairngorm IPA and White Lady.
The brewery has received numerous awards, including Overall UK Supreme Champion for Black Gold in 2009.
Taproom
The brewery tap room at Cairngorm Brewery in Aviemore serves its draught beers alongside tasting paddles, with a selection of Scottish spirits, wines and prosecco also available. Group beer tastings can be arranged in advance.
