Glen Spean Brewing Co is a small independent brewery based in a restored historic steading at Spean Bridge in the West Highlands. Brewing with soft Lochaber water and carefully selected malt and hops, its beers are produced in bottle, can, cask and keg.
Brewery story
Glen Spean Brewing Co began brewing in 2018 from a converted mid-19th-century steading at Tirindrish in Spean Bridge, in the heart of the West Highlands.
The brewery was created by neighbours Ian Peter, James and Lucy, who restored the historic building to provide a home for the brewery.
Glen Spean's beers are shaped by the fresh, soft Lochaber water that runs from the surrounding hills, combined with Scottish and English malt and carefully selected hops.
In 2019, the brewery received the Best Beer award at the Highlands and Islands Food & Drink Awards.
