About this beer

A rich and warming 10.3% Barrel-Aged Barleywine from Otherworld Brewing, matured for almost two years in North British whisky casks. Deep amber in colour, Tribulation combines generous malt flavours of caramel, toffee and dried fruit with layered notes of oak and whisky from its extended maturation. Cherry and almond add a distinctive Bakewell-inspired character, bringing further complexity to this indulgent strong ale. Full-bodied yet relatively dry, it finishes with a satisfying warmth that showcases the depth of its whisky barrel ageing. Available in 440ml cans.
