Brewery story
Otherworld Brewing was established in 2022 and is based at the Hardengreen Estate in Eskbank, Midlothian.
The brewery focuses on modern sour beer and mixed fermentation, placing experimentation and fermentation character at the centre of its approach.
Rather than concentrating on conventional core styles, Otherworld specialises in beers that explore acidity, fermentation complexity and more unusual flavour profiles.
Most Otherworld beers are packaged in cans, reflecting the brewery's focus on modern small-pack releases.
Cask-conditioned beer forms a much smaller part of production, with special cask releases produced on a quarterly basis rather than as a regular part of the range.
From its Midlothian base, Otherworld continues to develop a changing range centred on sour and mixed-fermentation brewing.
