A decadent and fruit-packed Oat Cream IPA from Welsh brewery Polly's Brew Co, showcasing the expressive character of Mosaic hops alongside fresh vanilla and lactose. Hover State is a 6.6% ABV single-hop release built around Mosaic selected by the brewery itself, highlighting its preference for intensely aromatic, ripe fruit flavours. The hop profile is led by generous notes of fleshy mango, passionfruit and pineapple, supported by subtler impressions of tangerine and blueberries. Rather than combining several hop varieties, Polly's places Mosaic at the centre of the recipe, allowing its distinctive tropical and berry-like qualities to shine. Fresh, hand-scraped vanilla is added to complement the sweet fruit character, introducing another layer of richness to the beer. Lactose contributes additional sweetness and a soft, fluffy texture, reinforcing the luxurious mouthfeel associated with the Oat Cream IPA style.
