Saison Rouge

About this beer

A complex and fruity Saison from Simple Things Fermentations, brewed with a rich Vienna malt base that gives the beer its distinctive copper-red colour and deep malt character. Pouring with a creamy white head, Saison Rouge opens with inviting aromas of berries, ripe banana and a delicate touch of peppery spice. The palate develops layers of tangerine, red grapefruit, gooseberry and lychee, complemented by further banana notes and a rich, fruitcake-like malt foundation. Despite its full body and expressive fruit character, the beer finishes remarkably dry, with subtle red wine tannins and a crisp bitterness providing balance. At 6.1% ABV, this distinctive Saison combines traditional farmhouse character with rich malt complexity and a refreshing finish.
