A vibrant and fruit-forward Catharina Sour from Scotland's Stewart Brewing, inspired by the colourful energy of Brazil and its distinctive modern sour beer traditions. Brewed in small batches as part of the brewery's experimental Project 7 series, Copa Caledonia combines the refreshing acidity of a kettle-soured beer with an expressive selection of berries. Tart raspberries introduce a lively sharpness, complemented by the juicy sweetness of tayberries and the distinctive fruit character of honeyberries. Together, these ingredients create a bright and refreshing drinking experience with a layered combination of fruity sweetness and crisp acidity. At 5.3% ABV, Copa Caledonia offers a contemporary interpretation of the Brazilian Catharina Sour style, celebrating adventurous brewing and the vibrant flavours of carefully selected fruit. Its carnival-inspired artwork by Penfold reinforces the beer's playful connection to Brazilian culture.
