About this beer

A bold and expressive West Coast IPA created as a collaboration between Manchester's Track Brewing Co. and Spain's Oso Brew Co., brewed for the inaugural edition of Fresh Festival. Mainline brings together four distinctive New Zealand hop varieties — Motueka, Nelson Sauvin, Nectaron and Kohia Nelson — to deliver a vibrant combination of bright citrus, expressive fruit character and assertive resinous bitterness. Motueka contributes its characteristic citrus qualities, while Nelson Sauvin, Nectaron and Kohia Nelson add further aromatic complexity to the hop-forward profile. Beneath the lively hop flavours lies a firm, resinous foundation that provides structure and balance, showcasing the crisp bitterness associated with traditional West Coast IPAs. The beer's notably dry character allows its expressive hop aromas to remain prominent, creating a refreshing contrast to the intensity of its fruit and resin notes. At 7% ABV, Mainline offers a substantial yet focused interpretation of the modern West Coast IPA style.
