A punchy West Coast IPA from Cornwall's Verdant Brewing Co, originally brewed in 2022 and revived in 2026 as part of the brewery's Verdant Originals series. Why Am I Like This? draws inspiration from Verdant's earlier West Coast fresh hop beers, delivering assertive bitterness, a dry yet smooth finish and intense layers of pine sap, grapefruit, tropical fruit and dank hop character. For the 2026 release, the brewery selected premium American hop lots during its Yakima hop selection tour, incorporating T90 and Cryo hop formats to maximise depth and complexity. At 6% ABV, this expressive IPA celebrates the bold, resinous character of traditional West Coast brewing with Verdant's modern approach to hop selection.
