Old School Special

About this beer

A limited-edition English Pale Ale from Norfolk's Woodforde's Brewery, combining traditional British bitter character with a distinctive contemporary hop profile. Part of the brewery's Brewer Signature range, Old School Special pours an inviting copper colour and showcases a delicately sweet malt foundation that provides balance and depth. Expressive herbal hop aromas introduce an unusual mint-like character, creating a refreshing contrast to the rounded malt sweetness. At 4.7% ABV, this carefully balanced seasonal ale delivers a smooth and aromatic drinking experience with a subtly sweet finish. Crafted under the guidance of brewing manager Bruce Ash, Old School Special reflects Woodforde's commitment to traditional brewing techniques while exploring distinctive modern flavour combinations.
