Cardigan Brewery, or Bragdy Aberteifi, is a Welsh craft microbrewery established in 2021 at Brynhoffnant on the Ceredigion coast. Its range takes inspiration from its coastal surroundings and includes bitters, porters, IPAs and lagers, available across cask, keg and bottle-conditioned formats. The brewery also has an onsite taproom and restaurant.
Brewery story
Cardigan Brewery Ltd, known in Welsh as Bragdy Aberteifi, was established in 2021 at Brynhoffnant on the west coast of Wales. The craft microbrewery produces a varied range of real ales influenced by its surroundings on the Welsh coast.
Its beers span both traditional and contemporary styles, including bitters, porters, IPAs and lagers. The range includes beers such as Crafty Dai Best Bitter, Dai Bach Lager, Dai P.A and Dirty Dai Porter.
Beer is produced for cask and keg dispense as well as bottle-conditioned take-home packs. Growing demand led the brewery to significantly expand its original production capability during its early years.
Alongside brewing its own beer, Cardigan Brewery supplies the wholesale and on-trade markets and provides cellar and dispense equipment and installation services.
Visitors can drink Cardigan Brewery beers at the brewery's own taproom and restaurant in Brynhoffnant, which offers coastal views and outdoor seating as well as beer available to drink onsite or take away.
