Brewery story
Glamorgan Brewing Co began in 1994 with a straightforward ambition: to get Wales drinking better beer. Founded as a family-owned business, the brewery has spent more than three decades championing Welsh brewing, combining a passion for quality beer with a strong connection to the people and communities of South Wales.
In 2013 the brewery moved to its current home at Llantrisant Business Park, providing the space and facilities needed to increase production. Its range has grown to include established favourites, seasonal beers and special releases celebrating notable events, with distribution expanding from local pubs to customers throughout Wales and beyond.
A major milestone arrived in 2023 when Glamorgan became the sole beer supplier to the Welsh Rugby Union and Cardiff's Principality Stadium. The partnership brought its beers to one of Wales's most celebrated sporting venues, reflecting the brewery's growing reputation and its commitment to Welsh identity.
In 2024 Glamorgan began exporting beer to France and Norway, extending its reach beyond the UK. Despite its growth, the brewery remains family-owned and rooted in Llantrisant, with a daily brewery shop and a commitment to supporting its local community as an employer, supplier and champion of Welsh beer.
