Independent brewery in Kinross producing small-batch, handcrafted beers using traditional brewing methods, soft local water and UK-sourced ingredients wherever possible.
Brewery story
Loch Leven Brewery began brewing in Kinross in 2017 with a focus on small-batch, handcrafted beer made using traditional methods.
The brewery uses soft water from reservoirs in the surrounding hills, whole hops and locally or UK-sourced ingredients wherever possible. Its Great Scots range is gluten-free, while its bottled beers are vegan-friendly.
Cask beer remains at the heart of production, reflecting the brewery's emphasis on fresh, minimally processed beer and reducing unnecessary packaging and transport.
An adjoining taproom gives visitors the opportunity to drink the brewery's beers fresh from the cask, with beer flights and reusable growlers and howlers also available.
