No Limits Brewing

No Limits Brewing was founded by Henry Boswell and Andy Logan, who first met through their families and bonded over a shared interest in craft beer.

Henry's interest in modern craft brewing developed while living in the United States from 2009, where he became immersed in the creativity of the American craft beer scene. His background in product design also encouraged an experimental approach to developing new beers.

Andy brought a technical background to the partnership, having studied Chemical Engineering at Bath before building a career in technology and programme management. Together, the pair began trialling and refining beer recipes before establishing the brewery commercially.

After around two years of experimentation, No Limits Brewing opened in 2022 in the former Lennox Brewery premises in Dumbarton.

The brewery has steadily expanded since opening, eventually growing to an 11-barrel output while retaining its small-batch approach. Production is focused on freshness, with the team brewing more of the beers that prove popular while continuing to develop new recipes.

Experimentation remains central to No Limits Brewing. The brewery regularly explores new ingredients, flavours and styles, producing dozens of different beers rather than relying on a narrow permanent core range.

The Dumbarton brewery now produces around 1,500 litres of craft beer each month, with beers available in cans, kegs and reusable growlers. The brewery typically has around eight to ten different beers available each week.

Community is another important part of the brewery's identity. No Limits runs taproom evenings and events in the neighbouring unit on Lime Road, while its beers are also available through local retail outlets and on draught in the surrounding area.

Henry and Andy describe No Limits as a combination of creativity, technical knowledge and adventure, with the brewery built around bold flavours, experimentation and the simple goal of making fresh beer for its local community.
