A traditional 4.75% Best Bitter from Bad Knees Brewing, inspired by the legendary Blowing Stone in the Vale of the White Horse, said to have summoned King Alfred's men to battle. Copper in colour, this malt-forward ale combines Golden Promise, Maris Otter, Amber and Crystal malts with Caramalt and roasted barley, creating a rich, biscuity backbone. East Kent Goldings and First Gold hops contribute a classic British hop finish, balancing the malt character with gentle bitterness. A distinctive bitter celebrating local history and traditional English brewing.
