Post Mortem: Mochaccino

An indulgent Coffee Stout from Edinburgh's Barney's Beer, created in collaboration with Pilot Beer to celebrate the Gravity Beer Festival. Part of Barney's experimental Post Mortem series, this special release reimagines Pilot's classic Mochaccino Stout with an exceptionally rich malt bill featuring chocolate malt, black malt, crystal, Munich, amber malt, extra pale malt, double roasted crystal and naked malted oats. A specially roasted espresso blend from Machina Coffee Roasters brings bold coffee character, while an addition of lactose provides rounded sweetness. The result is a thick, substantial stout combining deep roasted malt complexity with indulgent coffee flavours.
