El Cal

About this beer

A light and refreshing 4% Mexican-inspired Pale Ale from Horsforth Brewery, designed for easy drinking. El Cal combines a delicate malt base with gentle Amarillo hopping, providing a subtle citrus character without overwhelming bitterness. Fresh limes are added during fermentation, bringing a bright, zesty freshness that complements the beer's crisp, clean profile. Light-bodied and approachable, this sessionable pale ale offers a refreshing balance of soft malt, citrus hops and lively lime flavours. Particularly well suited to spicy food, El Cal is equally enjoyable on its own as a refreshing, easy-drinking beer.
