A rich and warming 8% Scottish Strong Ale from Traquair House Brewery, first brewed in 1995 to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the Jacobite rebellion. Inspired by an 18th-century recipe, Jacobite Ale combines warm biscuit malt aromas with balanced hop bitterness and distinctive herbal coriander notes. Flavours of chocolate, vinous fruit and gentle spice lead into a complex bittersweet finish. A historic and characterful Scottish ale, available in 330ml bottles.
