A Spratt to Catch

About this beer

A distinctive Dry Stout from Woodshedding Brew, combining traditional roasted malt character with an unusual late addition of Bullion hops. A carefully selected grain bill of organic Plumage Archer pale malt, roasted barley, black malt and unmalted YQ wheat provides rich chocolate and coffee notes. The generous late hopping introduces subtle citrus and blackcurrant-like fruit character, creating an intriguing contrast with the beer's deep roasted flavours. A modern interpretation of dry stout that celebrates heritage grains and expressive British hops.
