Bearwood Brewing

Bearwood Brewing is an independent craft brewery based in Wokingham, Berkshire, producing a diverse range of modern beer styles from its purpose-built brewery and taproom. Focused on quality, the brewery creates everything from hop-forward IPAs and rich stouts to vibrant fruit sours, balancing classic brewing techniques with contemporary flavour-driven recipes.

The brewery takes its name from Bearwood Lakes, the location discussed during the project's earliest planning stages. What began as a working title quickly became the brewery's identity, reflecting its Berkshire roots and the collaborative spirit behind its creation.

Head Brewer John Willatts brings extensive experience from Binghams Brewery, Ascot Brewing Company and Disruption Is Brewing, having contributed to award-winning beers including CAMRA's Supreme Champion Beer of Britain in 2016 and SIBA's Best Cask Pale in 2023. Alongside brewer Max Baylis and a dedicated team, Bearwood Brewing continues to build a reputation for approachable, high-quality craft beer served both in its welcoming taproom and across the wider region.
