Full Circle Brew

Full Circle Brew Co began in 2018 when founder Ben Cleary, then owner of independent bottle shop The Pip Stop in Annfield Plain, teamed up with home brewer Alex Redpath. Working from a small 140-litre pilot kit, they experimented with recipes and gathered feedback from customers before launching Full Circle Brew Co and relocating to Hoults Yard in Newcastle upon Tyne in 2019.

The brewery's first full-scale brewhouse and taproom opened just as the COVID-19 pandemic began. Despite the challenges, the team adapted quickly by expanding online sales, introducing local delivery and building an export network that now reaches countries across Europe and Asia. The ability to evolve during this period laid the foundations for the brewery's continued growth.

As restrictions eased, Full Circle established itself as one of the North East's leading independent breweries through award-winning beers, collaborations with breweries, charities and local organisations, and an active programme of community initiatives. Its Looper IPA has received multiple national and international awards, while the brewery itself has been recognised for community engagement and its online shop.

Today, Full Circle Brew Co continues to brew from its Newcastle home, supplying independent venues, supermarkets and international customers while remaining committed to producing modern, flavour-led beers. Alongside its brewery and taproom, the business continues to support local artists, community events and charitable partnerships, reflecting the collaborative spirit on which it was founded.
