Founded in 2013, Hooded Ram Brewing Company was one of the Isle of Man's pioneering modern craft breweries. Based in Douglas, it became known for producing hop-forward beers inspired by contemporary American and international brewing styles.
At a time when traditional bitters and cask ales dominated the local beer scene, Hooded Ram helped introduce a new generation of drinkers to IPAs, pale ales, stouts and experimental small-batch releases. The brewery developed a loyal following both on and off the island through its focus on flavour-forward craft beer.
Although the brewery has since closed, its beers remain an important part of the Isle of Man's modern brewing history and helped pave the way for newer independent breweries that followed.
