Little Big Brew Co.

Little Big Brew Co is a proudly independent brewery born and brewed in Guernsey, founded on a passion for flavourful beer and a desire to bring modern craft brewing to the island. The brewery's story begins with head brewer Dan, whose love of beer was sparked while studying in the Netherlands. Surrounded by shelves filled with hundreds of different beers and ever-changing seasonal releases, he discovered a world of flavour and variety that was largely absent from the beers he had grown up with. Inspired to learn more, Dan began brewing in his university accommodation under the guidance of a former brewer, laying the foundations for what would eventually become Little Big Brew Co.

Returning to Guernsey, Dan joined a local craft brewery as a junior brewer, developing his skills through formal brewing courses and hands-on experience. In 2020, an opportunity arose when Charlie approached Dan and Gareth with the idea of creating a new brewery focused on producing high-quality, approachable craft beer for the island. Together they launched Little Big Brew Co with three core beers, combining modern brewing techniques with a strong connection to Guernsey's coastal identity and community.

Since its launch, the brewery has continued to evolve, refining its original recipes and introducing new beers inspired by personal experiences and island life. Mainsail, first brewed for Dan's wedding before becoming a permanent fixture in the range, reflects the brewery's creative and personal approach to brewing. Breaker, a crisp Helles-style lager, draws inspiration from a honeymoon spent exploring Munich's famous beer halls, while Zero Knots captures the calm of Guernsey's coastline and the maritime heritage that surrounds the brewery's home on St George's Esplanade.

Today, Little Big Brew Co operates a brewery and taproom overlooking the harbour in St Peter Port, producing a growing range of beers enjoyed across Guernsey and beyond. While the brewery has expanded since its early days, its mission remains unchanged: to create flavourful, modern beers inspired by travel, craftsmanship and island life.
