Brewery story
Mumbles Brewery was established in 2011, taking its name from the coastal district of Mumbles on the western edge of Swansea Bay. Brewing began in 2013, bringing a new independent brewery to an area known for its seaside character and strong local identity.
After its early years in Mumbles, the brewery moved to permanent premises at Swansea Enterprise Park in 2015. The relocation included the installation of a 10-barrel brewing plant, providing greater production capacity and a more established base for the growing business.
From its Swansea home, Mumbles Brewery developed a range of beers distributed to pubs throughout South Wales and across the Bristol area. Alongside its regular beers, the brewery produces seasonal and one-off releases, allowing it to introduce different recipes throughout the year.
More than a decade after brewing began, Mumbles Brewery continues to represent Swansea's independent brewing scene. Its roots remain in the coastal community that gave the brewery its name, while its beers reach drinkers across South Wales and beyond.
