Terra Tempo Brewing

Terra Tempo Brewing was founded in 2023 as a small independent brewery based at Manor Farm in Tongham, on the Hogs Back Brewery site in Surrey.

The name Terra Tempo reflects the brewery's focus on land, weather and time, with its beers shaped by agriculture, seasonality and patient fermentation.

Terra Tempo operates as an off-grid brewery, with its brewing powered exclusively by solar energy. The brewery places a strong emphasis on sustainable production and a soil-first approach to its ingredients.

Farm-grown hops from the Hogs Back site are regularly used alongside regenerative British barley, connecting the beers closely to the land surrounding the brewery.

The range includes Pilsners, pale ales, fruit beers and low-intervention sour beers. Seasonal fruit is also used to create beers that vary with the harvest and develop distinctive flavour profiles.

A significant part of Terra Tempo's production is its barrel programme. Beers are conditioned and matured in old Portuguese wine casks, allowing oak, fermentation and time to contribute additional depth and complexity.

The brewery was founded by an experienced brewer who previously worked on Cloudwater's barrel programme as well as in production at Magic Rock. Terra Tempo emphasises close technical oversight, with each batch brewed, packaged and labelled under the same supervision.

Terra Tempo beers are available directly from the brewery and through the Hogs Back Brewery shop, with glass bottles used as part of its wider commitment to small-scale and sustainable production.
