Zest Brewery

Zest Brewery launched in 2020 as a rebrand of Oldershaw Brewery, building on a brewing history stretching back to 1997. Led by owner and brewster Kathy Britton, Zest carries forward the experience and traditions developed through Oldershaw while giving the brewery a renewed identity and a broader approach to its drinks.

The brewery combines traditional brewing techniques with contemporary ideas, producing a core range that spans both classic and modern beer styles alongside seasonal releases. Its beers are available in cask, bottle and bag-in-box formats, while bespoke bottled and cask beers can also be created to order.

Alongside beer, Zest has expanded its range to include apple and flavoured ciders. Beer and cider are available directly from the brewery and through its online shop, with trade customers supplied through direct delivery and wholesale distribution.

Zest also operates Bar Zest, a mobile bar service designed for events and festivals. With two trailer bars and a collection of pop-up bars, this side of the business allows the brewery to take its beers, ciders and wider drinks range beyond the brewery and directly to events.
