Greengage 2023

About this beer

An elegant 6.5% fruit-led Wild Ale from Balance Brewing & Blending, created from a blend of three barrels fermented with the brewery's house culture and aged for six months on British greengages. Delicate floral aromas mingle with ripe plum and white wine notes, while lively, spritzy carbonation and fruity minerality create a distinctly champagne-like character. Subtle hints of vanilla and marzipan add complexity before a gently tannic finish reveals layers of expressive fruit and rustic funk. A beautifully nuanced celebration of British stone fruit and mixed fermentation.
