Kölsch?

A delicate and refreshing barrel-aged Wild Ale from Balance Brewing, created from a Kölsch originally brewed at Sureshot Brewing. Transferred into oak barrels with Balance's house culture, the beer underwent approximately two years of mixed-culture fermentation, allowing wild microbes to transform the traditional German-inspired base into something entirely new. Dry-hopped with aged Hallertau Blanc, it opens with bright floral spice, lemon and pear aromas, followed by layers of nectarine and sharp plum. Earthy funk and gentle vanilla notes from the oak barrel add complexity while preserving the beer's refreshing character. At 5% ABV, Kölsch? offers a delicate, fruit-forward palate and a beautifully refreshing finish, showcasing the interplay between traditional brewing, wild fermentation and extended barrel ageing.
