Smoked Aji Amarillo

About this beer

A distinctive 5.5% Wild Ale from Balance Brewing & Blending, featuring Aji Amarillo chillies smoked over mesquite wood. The chillies bring a fruity character that complements the base beer's lively acidity, woody funk and effervescence. Enticing smoke aromas lead into layers of wood, umami and gentle tartness, followed by notes of peach, lemon and honeydew melon. A gradually developing chilli warmth carries through to a funky, tropical finish, creating a complex balance of smoke, fruit, acidity and spice.
