A rich and distinctive whisky cask-aged Imperial Porter from Scotland's Harviestoun Brewery, produced as part of its celebrated Ola Dubh range in collaboration with Highland Park Distillery. Ola Dubh, meaning 'Black Oil', builds upon the brewery's award-winning Old Engine Oil, taking inspiration from the powerful dark porters and stouts traditionally brewed during the nineteenth century. This 14 Year Old edition is matured in selected oak casks previously used to age Highland Park's Loyalty of the Wolf 14-year-old Single Malt Scotch Whisky. The whisky-seasoned oak provides an additional dimension to the beer's substantial dark malt character, bringing together the influence of traditional Scottish whisky maturation and robust brewing. At 8% ABV, Ola Dubh 14 Year Old offers a powerful interpretation of a barrel-aged dark ale, distinguished by its connection to a named whisky distillery and carefully selected maturation casks. Produced by Harviestoun Brewery, established in 1983, this special release reflects the brewery's longstanding commitment to innovative brewing, natural ingredients and distinctive Scottish beer.
