Atlantic Brewery has been championing organic brewing in Cornwall for over two decades, producing award-winning artisan beers with sustainability at the heart of everything it does. Founded with a commitment to quality and environmental responsibility, the brewery has remained dedicated to brewing exclusively certified organic beers since its earliest days, becoming Cornwall's only brewery to achieve Soil Association organic certification.

The brewery's philosophy is built on the belief that exceptional beer begins with exceptional ingredients. Organic malt is sourced from the historic Warminster Maltings in Wiltshire, while all hops are organically grown. Since planting its own hop garden in 2004, Atlantic Brewery has cultivated Fuggle hops on its smallholding near the North Cornish coast, alongside fresh herbs, fruits and produce from its heritage orchard. These homegrown ingredients add distinctive seasonal character to selected beers while strengthening the brewery's connection to the Cornish landscape.

Sustainability extends far beyond the ingredients. Atlantic Brewery continually invests in environmentally responsible brewing, using renewable electricity, solar power and heat recovery systems to reduce energy consumption. Brewing by-products are composted and returned to the land, lightweight recycled bottles and FSC-certified packaging minimise waste, and local ingredient production helps reduce transport emissions.

Over the years, Atlantic Brewery has expanded beyond brewing alone, opening an on-site shop and tasting room where visitors can discover its range of organic beers and learn more about its brewing philosophy. Alongside its sister company, Atlantic Distillery, the brewery continues to develop products that reflect the growing demand for high-quality organic drinks.

Today, Atlantic Brewery remains one of Cornwall's most distinctive independent breweries, recognised for producing consistently high-quality organic beers while demonstrating that traditional brewing, environmental stewardship and modern innovation can go hand in hand.
