Bang The Elephant Brewing Co

Bang the Elephant Brewing Co. was founded in 2017 after a simple idea between passionate homebrewers grew into a serious brewing venture. Brewing began on a small Grainfather system, with early batches shared among friends, family and local beer festivals to refine recipes and build confidence.

Following encouraging feedback, the brewery expanded production in 2018 by brewing on a 4-barrel kit, supplying cask ales to pubs across the local area before adding keg beer to its growing range. A year later, an opportunity to acquire the former Abstract Jungle Brewery and learn alongside head brewer Simon King marked another major step in the brewery's development.

Today Bang the Elephant Brewing Co. continues to produce finely crafted small-batch beers while embracing experimentation and regularly introducing new recipes. Remaining proudly independent, the brewery is driven by a love of brewing, strong local roots and ambitions to further expand with its own taproom and canning line.
