Brewery story
Black Lodge established itself in Liverpool with a focus on experimental and speciality beer, regularly producing one-off releases and collaborations alongside its wider range. Its beers span keg and cask, with cask-conditioned releases increasingly appearing in pubs around the local area.
In 2019, Black Lodge moved into its current brewery on Kings Dock Street in Liverpool's Baltic Triangle, installing brewing equipment previously used by Mad Hatter Brewing. The site combines production with a brewery taproom, allowing the latest Black Lodge beers to be served directly alongside food from resident traders.
Black Lodge has since expanded its hospitality offering with a second venue in West Kirby. The West Kirby Brewery Tap pours Black Lodge beers on keg and cask alongside cocktails, wine and spirits, while also stocking the brewery's canned range to take away.
