Amity Brew Co is an independent West Yorkshire brewery founded in 2020 by Russ Clarke and Rich Degnan. Built around community, friendship and good beer, Amity produces fresh, modern interpretations of classic styles alongside more experimental releases.
Brewery story
Amity Brew Co was founded in 2020 by Russ Clarke and Rich Degnan, initially cuckoo brewing before opening its Farsley brewpub at Sunny Bank Mills in December that year. The brewery was created by friends with backgrounds across the UK craft beer and retail scene.
Inspired by the American brewpub model, Amity built its identity around small-batch beer served fresh to its local community. Its range combines modern interpretations of classic styles with more experimental releases.
In 2025, Amity expanded with a new production brewery at Albion Mills in Greengates, Bradford. The site also opens as the Greengates Brewery Taproom on selected dates, while the original Farsley Taproom remains a permanent venue.
