Brewery story

About Missing Link Brewing

Missing Link Brewing was founded in 2016 with a simple ambition: to become the missing link between great beer, great hospitality and the people who enjoy them. Rather than chasing every passing trend, the brewery set out to create beers that are balanced, approachable and brewed to the highest standard.

The brewery was established at Chiddinglye Farm, surrounded by the woodland and rolling countryside of the Sussex High Weald. That setting continues to shape the brewery today, with the team drawing inspiration from the landscape and creating a destination where beer lovers, walkers, families and friends can all feel at home.

In 2020, Missing Link opened its on-site taproom, allowing visitors to enjoy beers poured fresh from the brewery just a few metres away. Alongside ten rotating taps, guests can enjoy locally inspired food, estate-made cider, brewery tours, glamping and regular street-food events, making the brewery as much about the experience as the beer itself.

Today, the brewers continue to produce a wide range of modern craft beers, from hazy pale ales and NEIPAs to pilsners, DIPAs and seasonal specials. Their commitment to quality has been recognised through multiple Great Taste Awards, while the taproom has become one of Sussex's standout destinations for fresh beer enjoyed exactly where it was brewed.
