SEVEN BRO7HERS is a family-owned Greater Manchester brewery founded in 2014 by seven McAvoy brothers. Based in Salford, it produces an accessible range of craft beer alongside speciality and collaborative releases, with an onsite brewery taproom, bookable brewery tours and bars across Greater Manchester.
Brewery story
SEVEN BRO7HERS began brewing in Salford in 2014, created by seven brothers from the McAvoy family. The family built the brewery around a shared enthusiasm for beer and an ambition to make craft beer approachable, describing SEVEN BRO7HERS as a 'gateway brewery' for drinkers looking to explore more flavourful beer without confusing terminology or branding.
Starting with a 10-barrel brewing plant, the business expanded rapidly and installed a new brewhouse and additional fermentation capacity in 2017. The increased capacity gave the brewing team more scope for speciality and one-off releases alongside its core beers, while collaborations have included projects with companies such as Kellogg's. The family later expanded into distilling, taking control of the 4 Sisters Gin Distillery in 2024.
The Salford brewery includes its own taproom, serving fresh beer from the source and offering bookable brewery tours followed by a six-beer tasting. Beyond the brewery, the family operates the Ancoats Beerhouse in Manchester and SEVEN BRO7HERS Social at MediaCity, extending the brewery's focus on accessible beer and shared drinking experiences into dedicated hospitality venues.
